<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.livelovecolor.com/">www.livelovecolor.com</a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
REMBER how I keep saying the best way to start you're paint color decision for interior </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
walls is to buy a RUG you adore!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
DO IT NOW AND,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
EMBRACE YOUR HOT SIDE</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
SOME LIKE IT HOT! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: start;"> EMBRACE YOUR COOL SIDE... </span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
AND, SOME LIKE IT COOL...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-TIoR08naWRs/VGpSqdbBtVI/AAAAAAAAAfk/1joE_nZDweg/s1600/DR_Perspective.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-TIoR08naWRs/VGpSqdbBtVI/AAAAAAAAAfk/1joE_nZDweg/s1600/DR_Perspective.jpg" height="320" width="212" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Granted more people will gravitate to the cooler, neutral colors, because, they are safe. No going wrong there. And there are some great warm neutrals. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
If you want deliriously energizing colors in a specific (pretty specific) room, go all the way with it, remember, it's paint, nothing is carved in stone, a little primer and another color can appear.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Most people don't think about - 'how do I want to feel in this room'. They know they want color but don't know how to get there. The starting point. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It's like buying a puppy, it's a process, a process of looking, looking again, and again, and even again and most likely at that point the puppy/color finds YOU!</div>
<br />
So pick your palette, warm or cool, buy a fan deck at the paint store, for interiors try the Benjamin Moore Color Stories Paint (CSP). A Full Spectrum paint that will give you 'wow' wall color, AND JUST GET TO IT...<br />

Have you ever thought about paint colors for your exterior with the influence being a piece of your favorite art work? Pick one (1) color from your inspiration and find it in a fan deck, then you can choose a light, medium and dark version of the color, or you can check the previous page and later page for more variations. Check out the companies historical colors (HC in Ben Moore). These are tried and true colors, you'll pretty much get the exact color on your home (strong natural light excluded). <div>
<br /></div>
<div>
This is probably the easiest way to chose color, because your inspiration is right in front of you. Need trim color? Here are Ben Moore's Top 12 Whites! Not that white is always the answer for trim, interior or exterior.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-96LaQtZDRLk/VFg2XGspraI/AAAAAAAAAfM/QgCCgTC8wig/s1600/BenM-Top-12-Whites-581x1024.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-96LaQtZDRLk/VFg2XGspraI/AAAAAAAAAfM/QgCCgTC8wig/s1600/BenM-Top-12-Whites-581x1024.png" height="640" width="362" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Always try and make color selection fun and easy, just let your eyes do the walking and trust your intuition to be your guide.</div>

First off, no names will be mentioned to avoid any harm or bad feelings. So, how are things going at the paint store you might ask? We've just moved to a new location only a couple of doors down from where we were located. The new store has a ton of light, and is very open feeling and welcoming (the previous store was dark and the ceilings were low). There's only one little concern, it's about 1/2 the size of the previous store. There's only one terminal to ring at the desk and the closeness of this new situation has been trying nerves. People are losing their cool! Shit is piled all over the place and it's not pretty when you can't find something you need when the client is right there. Transition's a bitch sometimes.<br />
<br />
Since I'm at this job only two days a week for 4 hours a day, my intuition tells me to keep to the front of the store (where the colors are) and stay out of everyone's way. I have no desk and share the space with the 5 gallon buckets piled high. However there is a plug and phone. One major downside for me is I can't bring Eva Reina my fur baby to the job, not safe period. No more glory days of running down the hall and being the mascot for us all. No more love from the clients, she got a lot of that.<br />
She'll be fine at home and the bus was getting a little challenging.<br />
<br />
Hope everyone is doing great...and<br />
May I meet each moment fully<br />
May I meet it as a friend.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09724533017058541948noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5047353686646904538.post-49993993066681378992014-07-08T19:31:00.001-07:002014-07-08T19:31:16.359-07:00<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

The owner of this Pacific Heights home wanted a palette that was very simple. It's a good motto KIS - Desert Tan body, Rubidoux sash and oc10 White Sand at trim. The doggie on the street is Eva Reina a very special mini-Schnoodle.</div>

So here is the best example of the 'power of sampling' you can get. You will know immediately what color is getting the axe. Whether you like the one on the right or left, your decision is there. Maybe, neither, neither work and you start over. This client chose the blue on the right. Good Choice!<br />Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09724533017058541948noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5047353686646904538.post-2077161900381696502014-04-18T14:45:00.003-07:002014-04-18T14:45:55.411-07:00<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Paint colors in these photos are my live brush outs. This is the way to choose your wall colors. You have a rug you want to use for the living room, pick a color that harmonizes with a color you love in the rug. Be bold with color, why not, you'll be happy you decided to try something new. <br /><br />Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09724533017058541948noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5047353686646904538.post-89131793492260969352014-04-16T15:39:00.001-07:002014-04-16T16:25:01.412-07:00<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Did I hear 'soft neutrals' are a continuing trend? This warm CSP color fits just what the client wants, a easy peasy background color that is light, warm, and clean. This is a middle room. The lumen is proportionally a perfect fit for the room.<div>

Client wanted this lovely home in San Francisco near West Portal a peach color. We settled on clay for the body, burgundy for the trim and a peach/white at the stairs. This home is on the small side so KIS was important, also being aware of the busy street and dirt factor kept the window/sash dark.<br />

I've always loved teal. It's a bold color</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
for the body, but it worked out beautifully. </div>

This palette of three (3) Affinity Colors is a gem. The purple was suggested<br />
by the 10 year old daughter of the house and the parents said 'why not'.<br />
