North Facing rooms with two different feelings,

one is ethereal the other whimsical.  Which one do

 you think would be the room of a 7 y.o. boy?

The owner of this Pacific Heights home wanted a palette that was very simple.  It's a good motto KIS - Desert Tan body, Rubidoux sash and oc10 White Sand at trim.  The doggie on the street is Eva Reina a very special mini-Schnoodle.

So here is the best example of the 'power of sampling' you can get.  You will know immediately what color is getting the axe.  Whether you like the one on the right or left, your decision is there.  Maybe, neither,  neither work and you start over.  This client chose the blue on the right.  Good Choice!

Paint colors in these photos are my live brush outs.  This is the way to choose your wall colors.  You have a rug you want to use for the living room, pick a color that harmonizes with a color you love in the rug.  Be bold with color, why not, you'll be happy you decided to try something new.

Did I hear 'soft neutrals' are a continuing trend?  This warm CSP color fits just what the client wants, a easy peasy background color that is light, warm,  and clean.  This is a middle room.  The lumen is  proportionally a perfect fit for the room.

 The wall color and trim were existing new colors in the kitchen.  Client wanted some attention & color at the beautiful ceiling.  The garden is visible from the kitchen, so this room is very pretty and full of light!

I've decided to show interiors with '3' colors.  This turned out excellent!
